THE RETURN OF JAMAL
Afro Aussie Cultural Entertainment (AACE) invite you to the first movie screening of its kind in Australia. Premiering at Australia’s largest conventional cinema screen at HOYTS Blacktown (boasting at 28.1metre wide), in complete comfort of recliner lounges, this film experience will leave you jaw dropped. African film at it’s absolute BEST!!
‘THE RETURN OF JAMAL’ is a truly unique film project completely conceptualised from beginning to end from an authentically African perspective. The fictional story highlights the classic notion of having ‘skeletons in the closet‘ as, Jamal, an ex-crim on a state witness protection programme is tipped-off and now being hounded by two under cover agents. Jamal keeps his cool and sets on a search for gold with a story that unfolds with unexpected surprises.
Filmed in Ghana, the authenticity of an African story resonates high exploring themes of chieftaincy, deception, loyalty, corruption and power in an exceptionally produced and directed first feature film. A cast of experienced actors and actresses, including Adjetey Annang, Belinda Effa, Nana Qwesi McKenzie and our very own Justice Peacock, to name a few, make this film a MUST SEE!
